ARCHIMEDES, AUTOLYCUS, ARISTILLUS, CASSINI AND THE NEARBY REGION INCLUDING VALLIS ALPES Taken by Raffaello Lena on January 24, 2018 @ Rome Italy



On January 24 2018 18:10 UT i imaged the craters Archimedes, Autolycus, Aristillus, Cassini and the nearby region including Vallis Alpes and its rille under oblique solar illumination angle using a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm, Lumenera LU075M CCD camera. Image taken by Rome Italy. At the terminator the region and the long shadows display dramatic view also in the image. Despite the turbolence and the faint seeing many features detecable.
