GREAT HALO PHENOMENON AROUND THE MOON LAST NIGHT Taken by Heiko Ulbricht on July 10, 2017 @ Herzogswalde, Saxony, Germany





It was a great night - fantastic halos around the moon! Cause were the ice anvils of thunderstorms around Saxony… To see were: 9°ring, 22°-ring, 46°-ring, circumzenithal arc, upper tangent arc, both moondogs, parhelic circle, light pillars… They were very bright, especially the CZA…
